The Dream

Articles of Association were signed after the initial drive to solicit subscriptions to raise $150,000 (shares were listed at $100 each) to build Manchester Country Club. The dream was realized by members of the neighboring 9-hole Intervale Country Club who seceded to form the 18-hole golf course at Manchester Country Club.

A Century of Community A Southern New Hampshire Icon

Since 1923, MCC has been a portrait of the magnetism of the Greater Manchester community. It's where generations have come to play, connect and celebrate. From championship golf tournaments, to weddings, galas and an array of local charity events, the Club, its members, and staff continue to make an impact on the families, causes and businesses of the local area.

We invite you to take a look at our most recent acknowledgements, as we ring in one hundred years:

Where Ross Made His Mark The Wonders of 100 Years

In the early 1920s, leading course architects Walter Stiles and Donald Ross competed for the business of the soon-to-be MCC golf course design. Legendary Ross won out, participating in the selection of the land, the design and the construction of the golf course, making MCC one of the few courses actually visited by Ross before opening.

Today, the course maintains much of the original integrity of Ross' design. With the latest renovation work, many of the Ross features that slipped away over time have become part of the golfing experience once again.
